Our AndrewsCamps middle school youth group is on the move. We entered 2014 with a fabulous Youth Retreat at Lake Tahoe. Ask those who attended. It was really a wonderful experience. This came following a season in which our group enjoyed many activities. We’ve done fun stuff like bowling, ice skating, a campout at Lake Sonoma, movie nights and more. Even more meaningful has been our community service projects.

Our Thanksgiving turkey drive and Christmas toy drive were great successes. We had a chance to meet and make a difference in the lives of some within our community who have more challenging lives. We also had a chance to work one evening at a San Rafael relief center, preparing and serving dinner to needy individuals and families.

Our weekly meetings have become so valuable. Here our members are in a safe place where they can be friends, deal with teen and pre-teen issues and pressures, develop leadership skills and smooth their passage through the adolescent years.

It’s time for your middle schoolers (or those you know) to check us out. The AndrewsCamps youth group meets every Thursday night from 6PM – 8PM. Our meetings are a mixture of fun and games and a time of meaningful group discussion. Dinner is served and is FREE. All your son or daughter needs to do is show up. (We meet in the new AndrewsCamps youth club room at 400 Tamal Plaza, Corte Madera ... next to the Corte Madera/Larkspur bike path and near the DMV.)
